You Can Take the Pika Out of Kanto But You Can't Take the Kanto Out of The Pika! 

Finally MissPikachuification has come back to New Mexico and Blogger! I've missed you Pika fans! Due to my former employer, I was unable to blog at my leisure and had to go into hiding for a while. I am now back and ready to be connected with you all again. The husband and I made a decision to come back to New Mexico from Arizona because we realized where we were most happy.

Aside from wanting joy, my health declined drastically to the point where I was in and out of the hospital and Dr. offices. I must say, it was a dark time for me mentally and physically and to see my husband not knowing what to do saddened me even more. My family helped as much as they could but when it came right down to it, we made the decision to come back so that we could heal as a couple and for myself.

Now I've been getting different reactions from several people which not all were necessarily negative but many are disappointing. I'm assuming due to the closed mindedness that most assume we were, "sucked back in" to NM or even more of the assumption that I am, let's see what's a good word for you all, oh yes, "knocked up." Okay so number one, we came back for the simple fact that this is where we want to be and not have to be. We love the area and the people we surround ourselves with and that's what matters! I love waking up to the mountains and having a cup of coffee looking out to a beautiful panoramic view of the town! We enjoy being around cultured, intelligent, sweet people who would always invite you in to their home and feed you just like my grandma taught me.I also find much comfort in being close to where I can visit the grave site of my grandma Nancy. I have the New Mexico culture and the love for the mountains within me and no one can ever change that. Plus I missed the green chile ; D.  Number two, no I am not and this would be something pertaining to privacy unless we decided otherwise. This is the one that disappointed me the most because it's so stereotypical which refers back to the ignorance of some.

Aside from all that, I appreciate those who have extended their hand to us and welcomed us back home which is where we love to be. I am excited to heal and find a teaching position with my country kids ;D. Life is simple if you let it be and that's what I've come to the determination of. I went to the plaza yesterday and on a set of napkins I saw this quote, "I Like Life. It's Something To Do." This is beyond intriguing for me and hopefully for some; without the challenges and the ups and down of life, we'd just be taking up space and wasting the precious time that is only on loan to us. In closing Pika fans, I am here because I love sharing my many memories and adventures with you all and I hope in doing this, I will have reached out to someone who might be going through these rough times.
